    We’re growing rapidly and are currently seeking an Product Owner to support our Westminster, CO office.

    What you'll do

    The product owner plays a key part in bringing new products and services to life and enhancing existing ones.  As a product owner at Coalfire you are responsible for the success and growth of the CoalfireOne platform.  You will be a key contributor in delivering value to Coalfire consultants, project managers and our customers.

    • Work within an agile process to define and prioritize a backlog of work including the creation of user stories
    • Work with product management, engineering, and designers to execute on our vision and roadmap
    • Identify areas of differentiation to create great experiences for our users
    • Serve as an evangelist with stakeholders to develop and execute strategy
    • Work with customers to determine needs, business goals, product usage, and refine ideas with concepts and product feedback
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and key users to drive adoption and ensure new products are driving successful outcomes in Coalfire offerings
    • Be the voice of the customer and provide a business perspective when evaluating day-to-day development decisions
    • Work with Learning & Development, Technical Writers, Support and Professional Services leaders to assure smooth uptake and adoption

    What you'll bring

    • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner with a focus on enterprise Software as a Service products/platforms
    • Background in creating user stories and prioritizing features
    • Energy for working in a hands-on role that is embedded within the agile scrum team
    • Exceptional understanding of Agile methodologies
    • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills to gain insight into product needs and generate ideas
    • The ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
    • The ability to make trade-off decisions, including a strong understanding of what is technically feasible
    • Exceptional customer relationship skills
    • The ability to context switch between current product adoption activities, current products in development, and future product planning activities
    • Must enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment
    • Ability to travel, up to 15%
    • Bachelor degree in a technical and/or IT related business field (e.g. CS, BA, IS)

    Bonus Points

    • Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner certification
    • Experience delivering security-focused products and solutions
    • Knowledge and experience with compliance regulations and frameworks such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, FedRAMP, ISO, SOC, NIST
    • Knowledge or experience with technical security testing such as vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
